"VU7, LAKSHADWEEP ISLANDS. There has been a report that David, K3LP, is
planning to be active from here as VU7/VU3RWO between January 15-25th.
Activity will be mainly CW and SSB, with limited RTTY. He will use 2
SteppIR beams with 2 amps. No other details were provided. Stay tuned!"
FYI:
It is correct that the National Institute of Amateur Radio started with
first preparations regarding a VU7 dxpedition.
This is an open secret since a NIAR announcement has been made at Hamradio
Germany.
Any details regarding exact dates, calls, modes, equipments, possible
operators or whatever will be an exclusive right by NIAR.
