International mail from Canada is $1.49 CDN.
There is no paper Canadian money in circulation under $5.00. $1 and $2 are
coins here.
$1.00 US is not sufficient as that currently 1 US dollar sell for $1.10 CDN
at the bank.
So the best bet from Canada is 1 new type IRC (can be exchanged for one
International stamp) or 2 US dollars.
