FWIW, As QSL manager for N5XX is his various guises (3D2XX, YJ0XX, ETC.), I receive a goodly number of SWL cards, mostly via the bureau. I found that W4MPY produces a card for responding to SWL requests which provides to the SWL all the information he/she needs to request awards and at a reasonable price.

The SWL says "I heard you talking to G0ABC on 14MHz at 0123Z". What are you supposed to say? "Yes, I was doing that"? Or "Yes, you heard me"? Or ???? I don't see what value my confirmation would have if I spoke only from my own knowledge. I am willing to send cards to SWLs, but I don't know what to put on them... -- Dave Gomberg, San Francisco NE5EE gomberg1 at wcf dot com All addresses, phones, etc. at http://www.wcf.com/ham/info.html ----------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------- Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] THE DXR is sponsored by the North Jersey DX Association.
