I was QSL Manager for 1S1A on their February, 1973 operation at Spratly Is. I was pressured severely by several prominent 6s to bring cards to Visalia so that attendees would have their cards for what was the most wanted entity at the time. I agree with Steve and refused to do what they wanted because of what I perceived would have been a chaotic physical pile-up, trying to obtain a card ahead of the rest of the world. I didn't want to chance any compromise to the integrity or credibility of my work and mailed them out to all that I had received before Visalia weekend.

It's usually all about handing out EVERY qso in the log to a person that gives his call sign, as opposed to the normal confirmation against QSLs sent in.
