THE KERMADEC DX ASSOCIATION DXPEDITION TO CHATHAM ISLAND, ZL7C IN 2002.

The first group left New Zealand from Christchurch today and have been on Chatham Island for the past ten hours. The second contingent will leave from Wellington tomorrow and ZL7C is expected on the air in about two days on all bands and all modes. It is hoped that they will spend considerable time targeting the low bands.

You can have a look at their website   http://www.qsl.net/zl7c/    and check out the operators, equipment and whether you are in the log. As with the  previous Kermadec DX Association DXpeditions, logs will be uploaded daily by pactor to the website.

The group will be very active in the CQWW SSB contest and will close down immediately after the contest is finished.

Good luck in your hunt for ZL7C!
