Title: Timer should resume not reset on proximity out Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: With the current implementation, it looks like the timer is reset every time the pointer exits from the proximity area. This creates a paradox because it makes the ephemeral notifications more persistent the more the user interacts with the content underneath them. Proposed solution: - Pause the timer when the pointer enters in the proximity area - Resume (not reset) the timer when the pointer exits the proximity area To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/notify-osd/+bug/979023/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
