Title: cairo_surface_t reference is lost when pointer is overwritten Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: The tmp_surface is passed as an argument in a function that reassigns a new surface to the same pointer. A third cairo_surface_t is probably required. The attached patch seems to work, but I did some guessing here since I never did much cairo ops before.
