Title: notifications have black border with non-compositing metacity (unity2D) Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: With notify-osd 0.9.34 and libnotify 0.7.5-1 (Precise Beta2) notifications have a black border when logging in with the Ubuntu2D profile (metacity WM). If the border is intentional, it should be much smaller, 1 - 2 pixels at most. See attached patch.
