You have been subscribed to a public bug: Please include the attached icon in notify-osd-icons.
I'm using TeX a lot. Sometimes it takes about a minute for (XeLa)TeX to process my document, therefore I use notify-send in the Makefile to tell me when it is finished. Also TeX editors like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:TeX_editors can employ this notification for their batch jobs when running in GNOME. In order to let t show the icon, I have to specify the complete patch to the icon and include the file extension .svg If I put the SVG in /usr/share/notify-osd/icons/gnome/scalable/status or link to the image from there, it does not work. Is this meant to work like this or how can one register new icons? I have created the icon conform the Notify OSD style. Including this icon in future release will allow other TeX users to get notified on their job status by Notify OSD. ** Affects: notify-osd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Icon contribution for TeX https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584226 You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to notify-osd in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
