Title: Critical events do NOT show up when using a fullscreen aplication Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: If you have an application and go full-screen mode, critical notify- osd events will not show up until after you exit full-screen. For example, if you open Firefox and a terminal, then go to full- screen on Firefox after executing the following command: "notify-send -u critical 'Hello world!' 'This is an example notification.'"; you will not receive the notification until after you exit full-screen. Here's a big reason why this is bad and needs to be fixed: If someone's battery is critically low and an application is in full- screen, the notification warning the user will never appear, unless all applications exit full-screen.
