Bug description:
The shared library is installed in /usr/lib/ whereas the .so →
.so.blah symlink is in /usr/lib/<multiarch triplet>/ and broken. This
breaks building of rdeps like:
/usr/bin/ld:
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.7/../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/libindicator.a(libindicator_la-indicator-desktop-shortcuts.o):
reloca
tion R_X86_64_32S against `.text' can not be used when making a shared
object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.7/../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/libindicator.a:
could not read symbols: Bad value
