Please reconsider adding a higher priority to this bug. The shortcut
overlay is the very first thing users will see on their new ubuntu
desktop. Having this broken or not super-polished leaves a very bad
first impression ("if not even this works, what can I expect from the
rest of the system?").

Title:
Shortcut overlay cannot be closed by clicking the close button in
  14.04

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
In 14.04, the shortcut overlay would pop-out automatically on first boot.
Although there is a close button on the top-left corner, it cannot be closed
by clicking it.

(it could be dismissed by the super key, or open a new window)
