Show desktop loses track of windows permanently

Bug description:
To reproduce:
1) Open firefox
2) Alt+Tab until you hit the Show Desktop icon
3) restart unity by typing "unity" in a gnome-terminal
Expected:
All windows to be around and working
Resutls
Firefox is all white, and unreprosive. The desktop title is active when
trying to click on it.
