Replying to a message from the indicator should mark it read in

Bug description:
After replying to a message in the indicator. I later find I have an
unread message in Messages. It turns out to be the same message. This
is a little confusing and laborious, so I would suggest not
duplicating the work for the user and mark the message read when a
reply is sent from the indicator.
