Ok, so marking that has invalid for notify-osd, because it is confirmed
to be an issue where the HW change is not uplifted to gsd. I assume
there is a task or bug related to having your HW supported by gsd, so
that brightness changes are noticed. Please report the bug here though,
your feedback is important to improve HW support for this machine.

Bug description:
Tested with daily UNR build from today, and notify-osd 0.9.8-0ubuntu1
On my Eee900 the notification bubble for screen brightness change with the
keyboard hotkeys does not appear. The brightness does get changed, but no
notification bubble.
