Not code specifically demoing this feature, but the previous examples have been upgraded to use this functionality. I'd say the most interesting is im-client.c. Also you can look at pidgin-libnotify to see how it's being used there. -- Applications should be able to determine if there's a listener out there https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/352616 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Indicator Applet Developers, which is the registrant for Indicator Applet. Status in Indicator Applet: Fix Released Bug description: Applications would like to know if there is anyone using the indicator bus. To do this there should be an API that should return a boolean relatively quickly on whether there is a listener available. This won't include information about what that listener is doing with that data, or how it is displaying it, but more than one exists. This allows for better choices about the environment that the application is working in. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~dx-team Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~dx-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
