Here is what I wrote. You may create groups from the time period you like. It can be don under FILTER||Edit Group Names. It is possible to select the time period you like to have as a group by using FILTER|Selection. Add the time period eg 1977-01-01-1999-12-31. It is then easy the give all selected QSOs a group number by going to Windows|QSO|Multiple QSO operation. If you just is interested of awards for a certain time period I think it is easier to just use the Filter. You will find more about this in the manual (version 5.01, Sept-15,2000) on page 126, 128 -134. It is also described under the Help function. I wish you all a prosperous 2002. 73 de Mel - SM0MPV
