The 706, 706MKII, and 706MKIIG all have different default addresses.  They
can be changed in the rig menu.  I'm not sure how DX4WIN handles this, but
you should be aware in case it helps you solve your challenge.

(I use the 706MKIIG with WriteLog, but I use a different radio with DX4WIN,
so I'm not familiar with how DX4WIN handles this radio.)
