I had several thousand records in WB2OPA years ago before making the switch to DX4WIN. I don't remember having any problems with the conversion except that I needed to make a few manual changes for some "country exceptions" that had not yet been updated in my new DX4WIN country database. I'd suggest that you make a hard copy of your worked countries list and make note of the various statistics you are tracking and then do the conversion per DX4WIN instructions. That will make it easier to find those "exceptions".
Obviously, keep copies of your WB2OPA logs and program "just in case". If you have already started a log in DX4WIN and have new contacts there, don't try importing your old log directly into your new one...create another (empty) log and import it into that. Once you determine that everything is ok, you can run a merge on your two "new" logs. (note: I seem to remember that you can not save a new log that is truely empty. If that is still the case, simply put a dummy entry in the new log before saving it, then run the import) Greg KT0K
