It turns out that I had the installation file for 5.01 still on my machine, so I did a fresh install in another directory. It works fine, once I merged my .ini file from the other one, and reads my older log files just fine.
Unfortunately, the two most recent log files appear to have been corrupted by whatever happened to the previous installation, when I tried to open them. Are there any database tools available for fixing (trying to fix?) these log files? Otherwise, I could lose 5 months worth of QSOs, because my next latest log file is dated 3-1-02. 73, Pete N4ZR Sometimes a tower is just a tower
