Margaret, I'm working on WAS also. I sent out about 140 QSLs from the NAQP CW and got about 25 back so far. I don't think it's ever unacceptable - hams can respond or not as they wish.
You can make labels with addresses, it just involves a lot of copy and paste work. Look in the PDF document.
