I have tried the DXatlas version 1.2 (30 day trial) and find it much more advanced than the DX4WIN built-in atlas. I guess there are two solutions to your request.
1. Convince DX4WIN and DXatlas owners to Joint Venture 2. Buy a bigger screen to allow for convenient use of both programs simultaneously.
