Hello Eric, I had some problems with DX4WIN and XP. After upgrade from Windows 98SE DX4WIN didn't see radio and I couldn't read my FT-1000MP frequency nor mode. It was impossible to get the spot frequency by using spot window. So, I installed Win XP again (but not upgrade) as fresh install. And it works great under Windows XP.
