Jay, DX4WIN is capable of being the front-end to an RTTY TU, but cannot operate as a standalone RTTY system like it does PSK.
However, to accomplish full-functioned RTTY from DX4WIN I have cross-connected DX4WIN to MMTTY using three serial ports and a null modem cable - treating MMTTY as the back-end engine (with MMTTY doing all the talking to the sound card). I have written two documents that describe what you need to do to accomplish this... it takes some effort but once you get it running DX4WIN/MMTTY works great as a complete RTTY solution. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll send you the information, -larry K8UT ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2002 8:24 PM Subject: [Dx4win] sound card rtty > I haven't kept up with the recent revisions of DX4Win and am wondering if > there is now a provision for using sound card rtty, similar to the PSK31 > window that was added in version 5?
