Instead of wondering, I decided to try it out.. I deleted the third pattern and put the normal cluster recognition pattern in that position. I then connected to the W6RFU cluster and... Hooray. I can now connect to ARC, CLX or AK1A systems and get all spots. Such a deal.
I can even get those RARE spots coming from Arizona! unkadean --
