HI Paul & Fellow DX4WINr's, Some time ago I purchased a RIGblaster plus for all the new digital modes to use with a TS-850. I'll try to make this short... In order to operate CW from DX4WIN it would be nice if BOTH the DTR & RTS lines for PTT & CW keying could be directed to another COM port apart from the one used by the radio. If my idea is correct, this would allow compatibility with other RTTY (using true FSK) & CW software. I believe the current options are NONE, LPT1 through 3, DTR on Radio port, and RTS on Radio port.
Recently, there has been some discussion on serial port cards. For those that may be looking for another alternative, I am successfully using a PCI bus four port serial card by JDR Microdevices, Cat # MCT-4PS-1, with a Windows 2000 system. What a relief the PCI bus offers from all the old ISA bus related IRQ juggling. 73/DX Bob - N9SF
