No direct provisions for RTTY soundcard plug ins, that is, although there is a solutions using several com ports to get in and out of DX4WIN. DX4WIN will operate RTTY using a TNC.

T88 used to be Western Carolines (KC6). The old Eastern Carolines (was also KC6) became Micronesia (V6). They are correct in the DX4WIN v5.03 database. Belau should be correct and replaced Western Carolines. It is hard the first time to get all of this data correct since you are trying to back into a solution. Save your log, then do a 5Band WAS submittal, and print it, then fix anything that doesn't match. Same with DXCC, although I suspect you would be better off just simply doing them one by one from the sheet ARRL sends back after a submittal. You can get spots directly from the net now, by simply configuring the RTTY screen for TCP/IP and dowloading spots from OH2AQ or one of the telnet addresses included with DX4WIN. It has nothing to do with networking, although networking all of your computers has some nice advantages. I use a common logfile from two different networked computers, but am not sure which country file gets updated when a change is made from differnet installations of DX4WIN. Maybe someone else can comment on this as I don't want to get them out of sync. The system supports a single radio now and is slightly cumbersome if you want to use two different radios. The rigblaster is simply an interface. DX4WIN includes a PSK plug in that will allow you to operate PSK31 but has no provisions for RTTY. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Eric Wilson Sent: Saturday, June 01, 2002 12:12 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Dx4win] Questions?? Hi, I am a new user to DX4WIN so I wanted to ask some questions before I got myself into real trouble. 1. How do I add T88, Palau to my countries list, I don't think it's in my version 5.03 and if it is when I try adding my T88AY it comes up with the country of Belau, OC 009, I don't think this is correct? 2. Ok I have entered over 1,500 contacts that I have already got confirmed and checked by the ARRL for credit on DXCC and 5 Band WAS and now I want DX4WIN to show them all confirmed and credited for my awards by the ARRL. What is the easiest way to do this, I do not want to loose all the time I put into inputting everything in. 3. What is the easiest way to configure my system so I can use my Icom IC 756 Pro II and my Kenwood TS 2000 with the program. I want to use my rigblaster also. I have a P 166 MMX Hitachi Laptop and a Generic IBM clone to use at my station and my desktop is currently hooked up to the net, I am planning to network my computers eventually with my DSL linksys router so I can take advantage of the dx spotting services on the net. Thanks for your time and consideration on these questions.
