Hi all, Here are 2 questions not 110% related to DX4WIN but close to it. I have 2 problems with my TFT colour monitor Rig.)ICOM IC 756 Pro II 1. RF pick up, causing monitor display to distort. 2. The monitor causes noises on the rig. The RF pick up was so bad it caused the computer to shut down. Earthing the monitor stops most of RF pick up, this RF pick up is only from the Cushcraft R8 vertical, which is mounted about 15 feet from the rig. (tri-bander on tower in garden does not cause the problem). What's the best way to screen a monitor and/or sort/screen the monitor input cables?? Earthing the monitor also sorted most of the noise being picked up by my rig, but again any further suggestions?? The monitor is only about 8" (wall mounted) from the rig. I know these aren't exactly DX4WIN questions, but some smart guys out there must have had a similar problem??!!?? 73's de Tony M0DQZ
