Today I updated my DX4WIN from v.405 to v.407. I then noticed a = differens between the versions when using F8 searching for a call (5U1A)
V.405 ,setup parameters QSO "substring". When I press F8 and write 5U1 = in callsign field and press enter I get 5U1A. V.407, setup parameters QSO "pattern". When I press F8 and write 5U1 in = callsign field and press enter I get "no matching QSO". I have to write = 5U1* to get 5U1A. I like the v.405 better because now I have to write = another * to get the result I want. Perhaps I have missed something in = the setup? How does this work in ver 5 ?? 73 Per/SM4SX
