Thanks to David K2DBK, for his prompt response to my inquiry about packet spots being muted when the PSK window is open. David believes this is probably intentional, to avoid audio from the spot being picked up and transmitted along with the PSK. That makes sense, because Windows audio transmitted by the sound card while the user was actually transmitting PSK would be broadcasted.
But it would be nice if there was a way to mute the packet spot audio only when transmitting PSK, and have the audio enabled when just receiving PSK. Maybe this can be added to Paul and Steve's "wish list" for the next release. Cliff K0CA
