Hi Mark, I have had my FT920 since ver. 4.x and am currently on 5.3 and I can't remember seeing this phenomenon. I have had on occasion where the rig seemed to lock up and had to re-boot the computer and shut off the radio to get them conversing again although this has been very rare over the years.
