Gee, what a wonderful analogy! In fact, 10 years ago, I bought a Murray rider
at K-Mart for 900 bucks. It was a piece of crap! Last year, I HAPPILY paid
$2500 for a John Deere to replace it! Anyone care to recommend the John Deere
of logging programs??

As for expecting country file support for a logging program, I guess I'm
spoiled by CT. I can go to the CT web page, log in as a registered user, and
download an up-to-date country file for version 9, which I purchased several
years before I bought DX4WIN (making it even MORE OUTDATED then DX4WIN v4). I
guess expecting this kind of support places me in the DANGEROUS LUNATIC HALL OF
FAME. I must be in good company!

I might have a bad attitude, based on misplaced expectations, but at least I
didn't call anybody names.

As for blaming the problem on the FCC, I don't buy it. Yeah, they screwed up
and should have made it KH1B or something. However, logging programs should be
able to handle exceptions. This certainly isn't the first time that a
DXpedition has used a callsign that is not unique to the location.

Thanks to Pete, N4ZR; Bob, N5NJ; and Tom, K4NR who actually offered helpful
suggestions, from trying the v5 country file (anyone do that?) to volunteering
to fix my file for me.
