No. The bad thing about computers is that they only do what you tell them. Go in with Windows Explorer and see what kind of a file structure you have under DX4WIN. Normally there would be only one SAVE directory.
I would attempt to be certain that you only have one logfile and one country (.cty) file that are normally active for logging. I always keep a copy of my log in addition to the active copy as well as a copy of the .cty file just in case I need to back up to a previously saved log. Rename the other save directory as save.old and see if the number of qso's in your log (FILE/info) is the same as you would expect. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of n3drk Sent: Wednesday, May 29, 2002 4:34 PM To: dx4win Subject: [Dx4win] how many files When i double click on the "save" directory there are 9 files but not my log. Just the kk4hd sample log file. But when i double click on the save file again, there are 16 files in that which has my log file and another kk4hd sample log. Is this normal? It seems i have triplicates of some files. Do the rest of you have two save directorys with files also? thanks in advance john _______________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
