May I ask You about some probably very simple Excel-question that I have. I am trying to import the QSL-manager-info taken from a 425DXNews into the QSL-manager database of DX4WIN. First I copy the whole list into an excel-file and divide the info into 6 fifferent columns Then I cut column # 3 to 6 and paste this info on to col # 1 Finally I cut this column #3 and 4 and past them into # 1 again. In this way I end up having all DX under each other in col #1 and the manager in col#2. Easy!
Now I can insert a new column between the two and add a double-comma here. Finally I can save the whole sheet and make it a .txt-file but here comes my problem. This txt-file is having a lot of space between the DX-call, the double-comma and the manager. Like XX1X ,, YY2YY ZZ1Z ,, WW1WW Can anyone explain to me how I shall do to receive a text-file looking like XX1X,,YY2YY ZZ1Z,,WW1WW because that's the only way DX4WIN will accept my import. This is a file like UA6JD earlier sent us on this refelctor, but for some reason he has stopped. Thank's for any help out there. 73 de SM5DJZ John
