The Behavior is normal.......... I am using a competitor's logging program, and if I boot with the 775 'engaged in CW' it will be keyed each time one of the radio functions is tested by XP including its initial serial port test, which brings my = serial port's DTR to high momentarily.
I usually have the rig off during boot or not have its transmit function engaged. Ron ..........
