If you do a find and replace on the ADIF file you can correct it before putting it into DX4WIN. Writelog is broken in this sense. I think it is just some of the contests not all of them because SS logs worked fine but 10m did not.
The find and replace should be: find: QTH:2 replace: STATE:2 You may want to go through each one, but I am pretty sure the :2 will make it grab only the states. The number in :number tells the import how many characters to read. -K6ENT --- Schuster Dieter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I tried to import the last ARRL-contestfile, which I > logged in Writelog > into DX4WIN V602. > > Using writelog's xxx.wl - files brought bad > results, and so did the ARRL > contest-files. > > Exporting writelog into ADIF and importing this > ADIF-file into DX4WIN worked > fine. > The only problem: The 2letter state abbreviation did > not appear in the state > field but in the "notes for this call" - field. > > Any idea how I can move it from there to the > "should-be" state-field ?? > Or should I change something in the import filter ? > > 73 de Dieter, DL8OH > > also: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > _______________________________________________ > Dx4win mailing list > [email protected] > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
