Jim, I just saw someone else post this problem with 6.02 and XP. An update on my situation: I installed the Win98SE upgrade (from 95) on my P1 last week. One night this week DX4WIN announced a spot and the sound from the speakers/soundcard almost threw me through the window. So, there is a sign of improvement. BUT, it is only announcing now the new band/mode, at least so far. Nothing for new call & not confirmed. I've seen little activity lately so it's not announcing anything very often. It is definitely not acting normally, just better. The announcement of a needed spot is one of the major features and having it work properly would really be great.
