I bought two USB to Serial converters from Shentech.com for $15 each. They shipped promptly. Problem is I don't understand how to use them. Windows XP recognizes them, but I don't know how to set up the rig to use them. I have to name a com port for DX4WIN. There must be something else for me to do to set up the cables. I have a CD that came with them, but there is no setup program. Windows XP seems to think it already has the software it needs to use the cables. Any suggestions.
