Actually, the correct response to my question is "no." There is no utility or process for eliminating duplicate contacts within a single DX4WIN log. One can create additional logs and merge. Import or export. Or whatever. When one introduces other logs via the ADIF process, it gets even more complex and less reliable. In the end, this is a great weakness of the DX4WIN programs, although there are an enormous number of strengths. At any rate, thanks for the advice. 73s, Rick WO8L
