Hello All, Installed 6.01 on a computer with XP operating system.
Few of observations. I like the Alt+S save feature in Version 5.03, and I believe that it should be available in version 6.01, but when I enter a contact in 6.01, and then use the Alt+S keystrokes, DX4WIN closes. The whole program closes, not just my log file. I loaded version 6.01 onto a computer running Windows ME, and I can use the Alt+S feature just fine. Anyone else running 6.01 on XP and having the same problem? Also, I have set the map options to "Show Spot Country", but I'm not seeing the spot countries prefix or the country being highlighted on the map as spots roll by on the cluster. Again, just me, or is there a problem? Lastly, and I noticed this on both ME and XP, when I merged my .cty files, there were quite a few contacts that had to be cleaned up to get my country counts correct to what I had in version 5.03. FO prefixes, 3X0C/LU, VK9's, some of my K5K contacts, some of my K1B contacts, some FR stuff, VP6DI contacts, etc., had to be cleaned up. Might not be a bad idea to check up on contacts with multi country prefixes. 73 All Don
