I have not put DX4WIN on a network drive but I have put it on a USB storage device. Works really well. It should work just fine on a shared drive as well. You want to make sure you use the same drive letter for all the machines using DX4WIN. This will eliminate some of the messages that come up about not finding the saved log file. Also you may see a message about the screen size having changed if you have different monitors for the machines.
In my case with the USB device I installed DX4WIN to that drive on one of the machines. To start DX4WIN when I want to use it I go to the directory where I installed it and double click on the dx4win.exe file. This will bring up the last log book you used. Other machines will not have the "file association" for .dxl files but everything will run fine. If you want to add the associations and the links in the Start menu just reinstall DX4WIN from each computer. If you have further questions on any specific install details feel free to send me a note. -K6ENT --- "ARS NZ3O (Byron) FM29fx" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Has anyone attempted to use DX4WIN on a > network share drive? > > 73, Byron > > > _______________________________________________ > Dx4win mailing list > [email protected] > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
