I am using DX4WIN V6.02 with Windows 2000. Just recently I've tried out the audible CW annoucement and also the CW keyboard.
The sound is coming from the computer's built in speaker (instead of my external speakers) and is very loud. The Windows Volume Control has no effect. It seems as if the sound output of these features is bypassing Windows altogether. Is there a way to control sound volume in this case? Better yet, to make the sound controllable by Windows?
