I'm having trouble getting my rig to TX. I have a FT1000MP, I have G3LIV, ISOTERM-RL interface made for the MP as it needs a DIL relay for TX. There a 4 leads attached, 1 lead to LINE IN, 1 lead to LINE OUT on the sound board, the other end has a 5 pin connector which I connected to the packet socket on the rear of the MP. The other connector is a com port connector. Dx4win is run through com 1, I have connected the ISOTERM RL interface unit to com 2. QUESTION, Have I to assign com 2, or is it detected by dx4win software!!!
I have adjusted the rx slider's for copy on rx. RX copy is good. When I try to TX, (front panel PKT selected) dx4win 6.02 hangs and I get a message saying 'an exception occurred" Invalid floating point operation. What does this mean!!! Any help would be great.
