Hi all -- A newer user here --
My computer's clock IS set to the exact, correct, WWV time -- I have checked it and reset it several times -- The computer's internal clock is therefore correct -- and I have it set to UTC time/Zulu time -- exactly as per WWV announcements. However, whenever I try to add a QSO "Real Time!", the time box always comes up exactly 1 hour off -- 1 hour ago -- I cannot seem to find the place in the Preferences where I set my local time zone, as referenced in the "HELP" menu -- which I fear might be the problem -- the DX4WIN assumes I am in the wrong time zone thus off-setting my computer's internal clock by a negative one hour??? Or, might this be a Day Light Savings Time internal problem?? (with the one hour offset -- however, if that was the case, I should be seeing the time as a PLUS one hour, not a negative???--) Any suggestions? Where do I find the UTC off-set setting in the preferences menus?? Thanks for any help -- suggestions -- Dick, K9APW, since 1960, Madison (area of) Wisconsin
