Rune, Although I only "run" DX4WIN on one computer in my house, but I can connect to that Ham Shack computer from anywhere - from other computers in the house or from across the Internet.
On the Ham Shack computer, I enabled the "Remote Desktop" feature of Windows XP. I then connect to that computer from other computers - like from my office - so I can be at my desk (an office in my home) and see DX spots, work CW, RTTY and FSK, log inbound QSL cards, etc. -larry K8UT ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rune Øye" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, September 04, 2003 11:37 AM Subject: [Dx4win] DX4win and Network > Hello All > > I just get a second laptop in the house. > > Is it posible to use DX4WIN in a Network configuration ???. > Have a plan to use one laptop in the radio rom, and the other one > instaled in the bedrom using wirles network. > > > 73 de Rune LA7THA > > _______________________________________________ > Dx4win mailing list > [email protected] > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
