George, Initially I replaced the single AGP card with a two port AGP card, but this caused the system to crash! So I had to perform a system restore. I reinstalled the original AGP card. Then I swapped the 2 port AGP card for a two port PCI card, let XP do all the installation worked and after adjustments in control panel/displays, hey presto I have three working displays! Actually I am only using the two, but if needed I can plug in a 3rd display. Only trouble now is finding a neat place to put the 2nd monitor!!!
It is really good. I also noticed in DX4WIN that if you check the right box it will remember the exact positions of each open window (on both displays). So many thanks for your help, it works real fine! See you on air soon?? When I am using DX4WIN I have a number of windows open, as usual the one I want is hidden at an appropriate time. Is anyone aware of software (or hardware) that allows two monitors to be connected to one computer AND allows separate information to be displayed on each monitor. Not just mirror image on both screens (like when one connects an external monitor to a laptop??)
