I received many direct requests to post the resolution to my recent difficulty. So, I hope the folk who have DX4Win "mastered" don't mind the bandwidth. It was nice knowing "I wasn't the only one". Two examples below, I used "snip-1" as it was the 1st one received. Worked as described. Happy Holidays and 73, Zig - KM9M
<snip-1> Copy your log in the Save Directory of DX4WIN i.e. KM9M.dxl onto a floppy and install it to the save directory of the other pc. actually saved it as: 12 DEC 2004 KM9M.dxl <SNIP-2> Then I copied my entire SAVE directory from my laptop into desktop. I also copied my "key" [in your case your "key" is probably named "KM9M.key"] from the DX4WIN main directory from the laptop to the desktop. Then I fired the program up and lo and behold, it worked! I did go to the menu options for "Merge .ini file [FILE | PREFERNCES | FILE | MERGE .INI FILE] The .ini file is in your SAVE directory so just navigate to it.
