OK Jim, Do you happen to know why Alt-s cannot be done automatically in the background whenever a Q is logged. Is it a failing in the methods used in the software? as I can't think of anything more important than being assured that a FULL log is saved without having to do anything other than hit the return key. Try running a pile up of callers and having to keep hitting Alt-S to make sure it's saved in case there is a power cut or whatever. 73 Clive ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Reisert AD1C" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Rick Murphy/K1MU" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 07, 2004 2:20 PM Subject: RE: [Dx4win] HELP! ALT-S saves the log, and removes the old (stale) backups. > > 73 - Jim AD1C > > > ===== > Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 > USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.com > PGP Fingerprint: D8E2 3D78 339F A7F1 8C13 1193 B5D1 4FB6 79D1 70DC > _______________________________________________ > Dx4win mailing list > [email protected] > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
