As I do not intend to "reinvent the wheel", I wonder if there is anybody
out there who has a working .rig-file for dx4win together with the
ALINCO DX-77 rig. I woud appreciate a copy very much.

Subject: [Dx4win] 603 and Selections
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hello,

I have a strange problem in Ver. 603 with SELECTIONS that I can not
solve. I will try to explain.

I have following selections (numbers are important!):

0 All QSO's (Program default)
1 LAST 3 YEARS (Date filter, start date 01.01.2001)
2 PSK31 (Group filter *12)
3 HELL (Group filter *17)
4 MFSK16 (Group filter *18)
5 YT3FM (Group filter *10 - my old call)
6 IOTA 2004 (Date filter, start date 01.01.2004, end date 31.12.2004)
7 S57XX (Date filter, start date 26.10.1992).
8 QRP (Group filter *20)

My Group names are:

000 All QSO's
001 QSO
002 ARRL DX QSO
003 ARRL 10M QSO
004 WW WPX QSO
005 ANARTS RTTY QSO
006 CRNI VRH
007 SCC RTTY QSO
008 EU HFC QSO
009 WW DX QSO
010 YT3FM (Old call)
011 KVP ZRS QSO
012 PSK 31 QSO
013 IARU HFC QSO
014 IOTA QSO
015 WAE QSO
016 RDXC QSO
017 HELL QSO
018 MFSK16 QSO
019 AA QSO
020 QRP QSO

Under File/Preferences/QSO - Defaults for new QSO, I have defined group
number 1.

In 602 I can choose selection, let's say IOTA 2004, hit F9 in Log input
window and there is still number 1 in Group box - bottom right of the
Log input window.
In 603, after selection IOTA 2004 and hitting F9, I get number 6 in
Group box of Log input window. Now, if I check File/Preferences/QSO -
Defaults for new QSO, I find group number 6 there also. Restarting
program will leave number 6 in the Preferences.

If I select QRP, it will bring me number 8 in the box, selecting HELL
will bring number 3 and so on.

I have redefined all selections but this happens all the time. Is it a
bug in 603 or am I doing something wrong? For now I will stay with 602,
where selections works just fine - for me ...

Thank you for any idea.

Regards,

Jure, S57XX
