I'm not surprised you didn't find it... it's anything but obvious. On the log scteen, under QSO --- Contest mode...
Add $$ to the note field. This will insert the frequency into the note field whether the program is in Contest Mode or not. This is not a really satisfactory solution, as it is not possible to import/export this info in standard ADIF format... ie and ADIF import will "lose" your frequency data... Why Paul will not change this is beyond me... DX4Win seems to be out of step with every other logging software... It has been suggested by those more cynical than I that Paul doesn't want to make switching log data too easy...
